Food: 4/5 Service: 4/5 Ambiance: 4/5 Felt like I had to wait forever to get my waiter's attention. In the reservation note I indicated that we were celebrating a birthday. Didn't feel special at all

Wow! Such an amazing experience from start to end. We were greeted by Jessica who was so warm and welcoming. She seated us and told us about some of her favorite dishes and drinks. Super helpful and informative! If it wasn't for her, I probably would have never tried the scallops appetizer which was to DIE for! Our waitress Beata was very attentive and just a pleasure to speak with. The food was well seasoned, steak cooked perfectly and the dessert was the cherry on top. One of the best steakhouses I've been too. I 100% recommend!

Came in for a later reservation on a Sunday evening, looking for a classic steak restaurant. The ambiance and decor could definitely use an upgrade - the music and furnishings were straight out of the 1980's. Of course, I'm here for a meal, but never underestimate the power of a modern, clean look for a dining establishment. Still, we sat down and read through the standard - but very solid - steakhouse menu. Once we ordered, however, any doubts went away. French onion soup was medium-rich, bubbling with quality cheese, and delicious. Next came the steak: a NY strip medium rare. Perfectly cooked and sliced by the kitchen at our request to share, the inside was properly cooked to temperature and the outside char was pure heaven. Crisp and salty and amazing. Mashed potatoes were not oily or overly buttery at all, but well made and a nice complement to the steak. Steamed broccoli (no butter) was crisp and healthy. Great service and a kitchen that cares. Solid four star experience.

Great service and consistent food. Been going here for many years. Parking around the area is a bit difficult. The calamari and the porterhouse are the two items i recommend

I visited Amber Steakhouse for the first time two weeks ago. I returned with Ashley P for my second visit. We were both hungry, thirsty, and in the mood for a fabulous meal. We ordered two 8oz Filet Mignon's, and two side's of vegetables. The Filet's were absolutely delicious. They were tender, tasty, and the Bordelais sauce was delectable. We shared a Creme Brulee for dessert, and it was a very tasty. Two glasses of Pinot Noir enhanced the experience. The bill was a bit steep, but most definitely worth it. We will back sooner than later.

I'm not sure why people say this place is mediocre at best. It's pretty good and the service is great too.The wait staff was very attentive, funny, on point and patient. The place was filled on a Saturday night even when it was close to closing. I suggest making reservations, or you might be turned away if you walk in. For the food, it was great. I enjoyed it and it was so delicious. Ordered the burrata, which was delicious since it had this green pesto sauce on it. I've never had a burrata taste like that before. Ordered the rib eye with bone, and it's good for two people. If you want steak sauce, that comes on the side. The steak sandwich that comes with either salad or fries was tasty, too. I asked for a sweet red wine, and the waiter suggested one for me, which wasn't too sweet but still tasty. I don't like dry wines. Had to make room for dessert too. Ordered the cheesecake, which topped the entire meal off for me. Had to make room. I would like to go back one of these days again.

Premium steakhouse in the heart of Greenpoint, Brooklyn offering up quality seafood, sandwiches and steaks including full bar with fantastic cocktails. Professional service every step of our dining service and definitely would recommend.

A meal for the occasion. White table clothed steakhouse putting the FINE in fine dining. Classic ambiance with comfortable service. We ordered the following for 5 people: Appetizers: scallops, steak tartare, burrata, and calamari. The scallops would recommend. Main: porterhouse, you could smell the salivating butter, and ribeye steaks with a crispy char, which paired well with the asparagus, spinach, and mashed potato sides. Enjoyed the special night out with friends.
